Terms of Service for Threads Auto-Publisher

Effective Date: April 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our application (“App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to interact with the Threads API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our App.

2. Description of Service

Our App provides automated content publishing functionality for Threads (the “Service”). The Service allows you to:

  • Connect your Threads account via Meta’s OAuth authentication
  • Automatically publish text, images, and videos to your Threads profile
  • Schedule or trigger posts based on your configured rules

3. Account and Authentication

  • You must have a valid Threads account to use the Service
  • You authorize our App to access your Threads account via Meta’s official API
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Threads account
  • We never store your Threads login credentials – only OAuth tokens are used

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Publish content that violates Meta’s Community Standards or Threads terms of service
  • Post spam, misleading content, or engage in artificial engagement manipulation
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Exceed API rate limits (250 published posts per 24-hour rolling period per profile)

5. Content Ownership

  • You retain all ownership rights to the content you publish through our Service
  • By using the Service, you grant our App the limited permission to post content on your behalf
  • We claim no intellectual property rights over your content

6. API Limitations and Service Availability

  • The Service depends on Meta’s Threads API, which may change or be discontinued
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted service
  • Rate limits and other restrictions imposed by Meta apply to your use of the Service

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service:

  • If you violate these Terms
  • If Meta revokes your permissions or the App’s API access
  • For any reason with 30 days’ notice

You may stop using the Service at any time and revoke our App’s access via your Threads account settings.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our headquarters are located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
